The AAN exercises practical means for arsenic mitigation by

  • providing safe water for the people in arsenic affected areas of Bangladesh and other Asian countries,
  • conducting awareness on the consequences of arsenic poisoning of groundwater
  • conducting water quality test,
  • the management and rehabilitation of arsenicosis patients,
  • giving training to interested individuals and organizations on different aspects of arsenic mitigation
  • providing consultancy on safe water design and installation
  • capacity building of beneficiaries, arsenic mitigation committees, local government institutions, line departments, and other stakeholders,
  • coordination with related government and non-government organizations, and
  • networking with NGOs, local government institutions, and line departments, and other stakeholders.

We have future plan to get involved with the following:

  2. Sanitation
  3. Organic Farming
  4. Climate Change
  5. Environmental Conservation

In addition to this, we also participate in charitable works to help the people who are facing severe natural calamities like flood, cyclone, diarrhea, cholera etc.
