i. Laboratory Facilities

We have well equipped environmental laboratory for testing at least 28 parameters of water. The main parameters are arsenic, manganese, iron, phosphate, coliform bacteria etc. It helps us to check different water quality parameters in ensuring safe water supply. It also renders services to outside clients like NGOs, the members of Jashore Cantonment, Air Force, pisciculture and individuals.

ii. Construction of Safe Water Devices

A plan of obtaining construction license is underway to take care of our safe water devices installation by ourselves and to provide support to outside clients.

iii. Consultancy

For safe water device installation, consultancy services are provided by conducting hydrogeological feasibility survey, briefing on and supervision of filtration system and construction works and community development trainings.

iv. Arsenicosis Patient Support

The AAN developed a support system for the treatment of arsenicosis patients taking donations from individuals and organizations. The support for the patients started with Toroku victims. Now it is providing support to many patients of Bangladesh. The Support System mainly takes care of poor patients to ease their suffering from arsenicosis.

v. Awareness

The community needs to understand what is arsenic and the consequences of taking arsenic contaminated water. We have a full-fledged awareness team which takes care of preparing a congenial atmosphere in providing safe water to the community. As a result, the possibility of a sustainable safe water supply is highly increased.
